Tech lead & backend engineer.Code, teams, clients.

7+ years in engineering: high-load at Sber, my own studio Reckue with staff and clients, five commercial projects at NLab worth 18M+ ₽. Now — applied AI at Simpl-group: agents, prototypes, pre-sale.

01 — Working modes

Four working modes.

Not facets of a personality — concrete ways I'm useful to a project.

Engineer

01 / 04
Java · Spring · Kafka
  • 3 years in the SberSpasibo core: high-load for millions of users, zero-downtime migrations, CI/CD.
  • TextBack: 20+ microservices of a messaging platform — queues, media, bots.
  • I design from pre-sale to production: REST, event pipelines, Kubernetes.

Team lead

02 / 04
NLab · teams up to 20
  • 5 commercial projects in parallel: architecture, estimates, pre-sales, acceptance.
  • Scrum, code review, one-on-ones — processes that hold without me.
  • Hired and grew juniors to independence — dozens of them.

Founder

03 / 04
Reckue · 2019—2024
  • A payroll of 3: hiring, retention, workload, obligations — every month.
  • 15+ full-cycle client projects: from a Figma mockup to production and support.
  • Ran the design layer myself: interfaces, prototypes, design reviews.

R&D

04 / 04
applied AI
  • Simpl-group: AI agents and pre-sale prototypes — Moscow IT Dept., Gazprom ecology.
  • Classic ML tasks: MLP/NLP classifiers, problem framing and validation.
  • Pet research: spiking networks, neural ensembles, a P2P messenger.
02 — Work

Four projects, with details.

Context, my role, the hard part, the result — no pretty generalities.

01

NLab Team

Custom development · 2024—2025

Five major commercial projects in parallel: e-commerce, services, integrations.

Role
Team lead: architecture, estimates, pre-sales, code.
Team
Up to 20 people, front and back.
Hard part
Parallel deadlines, legacy, demanding clients.
Result
18M+ ₽ in revenue, all projects delivered.
02

Sber · SberSpasibo

Product · 2019—2021

A loyalty program: mobile app plus a section inside the bank app.

Role
Java developer in the product core.
Team
Product teams, millions of users.
Hard part
High-load, zero-downtime migrations, strict production requirements.
Result
3 years of stable production and product experience that still feeds my decisions.
03

Simpl-group · AI

Work · 2025 →

An AI development group: agents, prototypes, pre-sale.

Role
Head of the development group.
Team
AI team; details under NDA.
Hard part
Pre-sale uncertainty: from idea to pilot in weeks.
Result
Won pilots: a Moscow IT Dept. government project, a Gazprom ecology prototype.
04

Reckue Langs

Personal product

A Chrome dictionary: parses and reassembles pages, highlighting words by familiarity.

GitHub →
Role
Everything myself: idea, code, design.
Team
Solo.
Hard part
Parsing and rebuilding arbitrary pages on the fly.
Result
A working product; my own English — to B2 through reading.
03 — Reckue

My own studio: staff, clients, payroll.

Reckue is what separates me from a typical senior developer: four years of responsibility for people, money and outcomes.

Club → studio

Started as an open startup club and a school for juniors — dozens guided into their first jobs. Grew into a custom development studio.

People on payroll

Three employees: hiring, retention, workload and obligations to people — every month, out of my own pocket.

15+ full-cycle projects

From pre-sale and mockups to production and support: e-commerce, services, bots. My own company in Kazakhstan.

The design layer

Not a designer by trade, but regularly: Figma, prototypes, design reviews. I can talk products with designers and clients — not just code.

04 — Stack

Tools, grouped by job.

The core is Java/Kotlin and Spring. Everything else joins as the project demands.

05 — R&D

AI and research — honestly, by level.

To avoid overpromising: where I'm strong, where I'm a practitioner, and where I'm a curious researcher.

Strong zone

AI agents, prototyping, pre-sale, integrating LLMs into working processes. Cursor and Claude are daily tools.

Working zone

Classic ML tasks: MLP/NLP classifiers, problem framing, result validation.

Research zone

Spiking networks, information coding in neural ensembles, an unblockable P2P messenger. Pet projects, not commerce.

Not claimed as expertise: training large models, ML infrastructure, deep neural architecture.

06 — Who I'm useful to

A nonlinear path: olympiads in a small town, esports management, my own studio, Kazakhstan, now AI. The detailed version — with all the fractures — lives in a separate text.
